ABOUT HORN VISION AID

Horn Vision Aid (HoVA) is a grassroots organization founded by a collective of women peace activists and gender equality advocates, united by a shared vision of creating inclusive, resilient, and thriving communities in East and Central Africa, particularly in arid and semi-arid lands.
Established to address the deep-rooted challenges faced by marginalized populations, Horn Vision Aid is committed to empowering women, youth, and vulnerable groups through holistic, community-cantered approaches.
At Horn Vision Aid, we believe that lasting change comes from the ground up. Our initiatives combine advocacy, education, empowerment, and practical support to tackle some of the most pressing issues facing our communities, such as poverty, inequality, and climate vulnerability.

We strive to ensure access to sustainable livelihoods, promote sustainable agriculture, defend human rights, and improve access to healthcare and education for all.
Our focus is on the most critical areas within the communities we serve. We actively work to protect girls from harmful cultural practices such as Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and to ensure that their rights are respected and upheld. Through strategic partnerships and a strong commitment to grassroots engagement, Horn Vision Aid is making significant strides toward a more just, peaceful, and equitable future for all.
We believe that women and youth are catalysts for transformation. By equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and resources to lead, we are helping shape a future where all communities—regardless of their geographic location or socioeconomic status—can thrive.
